My artistic approach in the “What if?” project is defined by a bold gender reversal in my artworks, challenging the traditional roles assigned to women and men within visual culture. By reinterpreting classical works or creating new compositions, I swap the genders of the figures to subvert expectations and reveal the ingrained gender biases that shape art history. This inversion of gender highlights how men and women have been represented—and often stereotyped—in our visual culture, while opening the door to new interpretations of power dynamics. My work invites viewers to reflect on the impact of gendered representations and to imagine a more inclusive and egalitarian vision of art.
